I find Andy warhol fascinating. Not only because he introduced print art into the media but because he challenged the values of American society. What do you guys think? Do you find his painting of campbell soup cans art? Do you consider his self portraits ignorant? or genius?

I think his portraits are genius in their simplicity. Who else would have found replicated campbells soup cans and become famous. His use of color is also very intriguing.

I agree with Meghan. Anyone who can turn such a simple idea in to a mass phen. such as Warhol deserves a degree of recognition.  More importantly, I think its good that he challenged the values of American Society, illustrating the direction the United States is gravitating towards.
