When was the last time you participated in art (someone elses or your own) outside of this class?
I think it is great that this class exposes students to many different forms or art, but I'm also curious as to what students were viewing before this class. I would occasionally watch performances at the Ahmanson Theater in L.A. as well as community performances. However those were mostly all plays. What have you been doing or will do now after taking this course? It is not just restricted to live performances. The "Boldest thing you've ever done" public art project was brilliant although…

"Simplicity is underestimated too often nowadays"
This sentence has many meanings in my life, for example:
I wasted so much time on perfecting things that were fine or even better before I made changes.
Or at times I enjoy some traditional conventions more than innovative technologies.
"No Shame Jane. Boop bleep boop."
I unknowingly embarrass myself all the time. And I'm not too chicken to do something. Mostly cause I don't realize the embarrassing consequences that may follow after. But that's me, whatever.
BTW, who wants to do the extra credit performance?!
"Stop finding the easy way out."
Throughout my whole life, I've always had this skill of figuring out how to achieve a certain goal with the least amount of effort or energy. I'm naturally drawn to shortcuts and I know it's not a good thing because I've learned that there are no shortcuts in life.
A 6 word sentence that defines me would probably be "Angel in action, Devil in words"
I am a quiet person most of the time, but when I speak, my friends would be shocked. I like to say whatever I am thinking at the moment, and I usually do not think before I speak out. Therefore, they will think I am a mean person. However, I love to help people as much as I can. As a result, my friends usually say I am nice when I don't say anything.
"Epitome of procrastination at its best." Come on, we all like to put things off till the last minute and enjoy the rush (or fear) of completing it right on the dot. We study for 15 minutes and take an hour-long break. Although I try (very hard) to snap out of it at times, I can't deny that I am the typical college kid that likes the thrill of last minute pressure.
