Though the class is officially over, I was curious to know (because let's be honest, I'm sure we could all use a few extra points so I figured I would open another forum for discussion) - whether this assignment, though we were encouraged to delve deep within our psyche to examine our true drive in life, actually made us feel as if we were true to ourselves? Is it the case that we are often afraid to really be honest with ourselves and admit what it truly is that drives us or are we all either too embarrassed, apathetic, or oblivious to recognize and acknowledge it. All pretensions at the door - did some us just do the assignment simply for a grade/responsibility; how many people actually feel as though they were honest and authentic in what they penned? Or are we always changing and consequently so are our motivations and desires? Is why we do what we do constantly a process?
