I do what I do so that I never have to worry about having enough money, being alone, or feeling unimportant. I do what I do so that I can feel the joy of being a father, a husband, and a grandpa. These are the base reasons for the directions I take in my life and the decisions I make throughout it. I honestly don’t care about the now at the moment, and I know I’ll regret it later. All I worry about is my future, or at least getting to my future. I’m tired of being looked at as a child, disrespected and un-trusted. I’m a young adult, and my point of view should be valued. My voice should be heard. I do what I do to earn respect, and to have a bright future. Neither of my parents went to college, and I’d like to be the first one in my family to succeed in something I want to do, because when I get older, I want my children to look up to me, and admire what I’ve accomplished. I don’t ever want my children or family in general to worry about where they’re going to sleep at night, or what they’re going to eat at night. I want a good paying job as an adult, a nice house, a loving wife, three cars, and a pool. That’s not at all too much to ask for. I just want to provide for myself and my family… That’s why I do what I do.
