Little *tiny* bit more about me:

I am a High School Art Teacher. I love the daily challanges that I am faced with. I try and also challange my students to think for themselves while pushing their artistic side. I do not just teach about art, I feel I teach life lessons and I give my students the tools to critically think on thier own. I encourage them to always ask questions and to challange my answers. My lessons are at times a little more cutting edge...trying to push the envelope.

2nd masters? That's impressive. I considered going for my masters and I looked into it after I got my B.A. (in psychology) but I decided against it. I'm glad you're going for it though! You must need a break once in a while. So enjoy Greece.

Adding text to pictures is easy. If you use Windows, just open one with Paint (the program that comes with Windows, not actual paint), click on the "A" on the left hand side and then you can use your mouse to set the spot you want the text to appear, then use the text tool bar to pick the font and size for the letters and type away. It's that easy!

I got to go practice. I decided that I want to learn to play jazz guitar. It just seemed like a challenge, and now I'm getting into it (the chords are really cool). Then I need to watch the Obama/Clinton debate. I'm a registered Democrat and live in PA (not MO like I put on my profile for some reason) and I haven't decided who I'll vote for (I keep hoping Biden and Dodd will come back into the race and say, "Okay, let's have the grown-ups handle this" and then run together).

I see you're an art teacher! That is so cool. I remember all my HS art teachers and they were all great. I also clicked on the link for your website, and I like your work. Especially some of those photographs....... :)
