I love life so much that I want to enjoy every bit of it. Life is too precious to be wasted, and that’s why I strive to find out what makes me truly passionate, because I know that the knowledge of my true passion will direct me through life in a truly valuable way so that I enjoy every moment whether it be sweet or bitter at times. I believe that it’s my duty to be constantly in search until I find my real passion.
Like many, I came to college without having quite figured out what my real passion is. My registration status says “Pre-psychology”, but I still don’t know if this academic discipline will lead me to a career that I truly value and enjoy. I keep myself open for opportunities that could lead to other possibilities. I take various courses of interest and participate in various activities; and I take them seriously because I might discover something that will accompany me through life there. Whatever I do, I always think that I might end up pursuing something that I can’t possibly imagine today, yet I know that I will end up doing something that I love.
This might sound unrealistically ideal to some that are not so fortunate as to pursue whatever they desire, but selfishly, I appreciate this privilege of being young and able and given enough to think this way. It isn’t only my duty but my right to search my passion. Once I find it and set my goal, I believe that I will enjoy every step of strife I take towards it, and the joy in taking steps towards a goal will lead to the greatest success I can ever achieve, which will also be to the benefit of the world around me.
I enjoy moments of simply having fun as well. Time spent giggling with friends, singing, taking a nap, or walking in the sunshine or rain is never wasted unless it’s excessive. Doing what I love is my way of loving my life, and my love of life is why I do what I do.
