Josh Canter: WDYDWYD Personal Essay
There are many things that are me. I am a very loving, caring and sensitive person. I am a person who loves to laugh and to make others laugh. I am Jewish. I have a yearning for learning, as I like to call it, and a passion for discovery and curiosity. I love my family and friends. I am a person who naturally pursues leadership positions and one who is easy to talk to. I love to meet new people and make new friends. I love movies, and I love to sit and watch movies and eat pizza with friends – there is nothing better than a Friday night like that. I love watching and playing baseball and football, for I am a huge sports fan. Why do I do all these things? There are many reasons. My parents raised me to become the person who I am today. I grew up watching the Dodgers, playing video games on my SNES, and watching Disney movies. I was raised with a value of family that I still cherish today. I come from a very funny family, and they have taught me the importance of having a sense of humor in my life. For me, there is nothing better in the world than sitting around a family dinner and laughing in hysterics at each others’ jokes. I am very grateful for my upbringing, and I love the person who I am today.
