My name is Vahe Boghossian and I am an undergraduate student at the University of
California Los Angeles. I am born and raised in the beautiful "City of Angels" and it is a great honor
for me to attend a great university around my home town. I come from a Lebanese Armenian
background and I am a first generation American. Since I was a little boy, I have always wanted to
become a member of the medical field.
I am currently a Physiological Sciences major with a pre-dental emphasis, and I study
hard so I can reach dental school in a couple of years. Dentistry was introduced to me at a very
young age due to my father being a practitioner in the field. I would be at his office many times
throughout the month, without realizing the time pass by. Over time I started to become intrigued with
what my father did and I started to visit his office more often during the week. During my application
process for college I had finally become set with a plan to pursue a career in dentistry due to my
personal shadowing of the field. I chose to become a pre-dental student to follow my father's
footsteps and to make him proud.
