this is the greatest invention of a website in the enrire worlddd. I am so amazed to say the least, and of course thankful you made it possible for me to truley be inspired. I feel like im actually posting my pictures for the whole world to see for a cause. Your my hero:)
I was wondering if you could help me. I am a journalist and I am writing an article about on-line arts collaboration project. It seems that what you have here is really exciting. Would it be possible to talk to you at some point about how you came up with this site and about what you are doing with it?
You can email me on email@example.com
I wanted to let you know... I presented the WDYDWYD project that I/my students have been working on last night at a workshop that I hosted for Northern Kentucky members of our state art education association. It received glorious feedback, and they asked me to present it at our state conference in the fall. I've never worked on a project with my students that was given the positive response that this has. It has been dramatic, to say the least.
Hi Tony - Thanks for the compliment about my photos. My father took them back in the '50's at San Jose State University. I love the crowd in the stands holding up the color-cards.
Tony - you mentioned that you responded to my post about deeper ways to share on the web...I am still too new to ning.com and can't find it. I would love to read what you wrote. Could you direct me? Thanks... Cherie
I don't know Tony but facebook seems to be an amazing community builder. Somehow you get people interested over on facebook then they come over to WDYDWYD and do their thing. I posted and got a response pretty quickly and I'm not that connected. I'm new and haven't figured it all out yet. Anyway, you've built it they'll come.
I believe honesty is the answer for many of our everyday troubles! this is the only place to be 100% honest without feeling that I will be judged! Strange that I feel more comfort in being honest with total strangers than those closest to me!
Thanks for your comment. Awesome site, and you are correct, it could be a terrific gathering place (like cafés) for meaningul conversation as well as provocative art. I like that your art is encouraging "conversation" in visual ways. Chris
