  • Architecture is the epitome of functional art.  When I look at some of the buildings in Los Angeles that are so plain and boring and ugly, it makes me wonder A) who is the genius behind this? and B) couldn't they have come up with something a little more interesting?  There are so many aspiring architects out there, why can't every building look like these ones or at least look somewhat artistic and thoughtful? Imagine a city full of crazy, beautiful, architecturally amazing buildings.
  • Check out this house.  This is what it actually looks like in real life, no photoshop involved:

    • This piece of architecture is my favorite that I have seen so far. It is very visually appealing to me. The desing and color scheme is super cool.
  • I feel architecture is a form of art on a higher level. To come up with something on paper is hard enough, and building it in real life is even more challenging. You need to consider the lighting, the temperature, the material, and so on.

    • I'd want an apartment like this when I move out of dorms next year... Westwood is hopeless :(
