Favorite Guest Performer

My favorite guest performers where the New Orleans Hot 8 who came week 7. I was impressed by how they came together after Hurricane Katrina and also by how good they played together. Who was your favorite guest performer this quarter?

Stephen Petronio was my favorite. As a dancer myself, I could really connect to the way he described falling in love with the art of movement. Although his style of dance is not quite like mine, I still deeply respect and appreciate his work.

My favorite was Kidd Pivot because it was nothing like I had ever seen before. I always thought interpretive dance would be boring but I liked how a story with reoccurring themes was told while dancing.

I really enjoyed Aaron the drummer and Melinda. They were just so relatable and demonstrated types of musical art that doesn't really get that much attention. I'm glad students were interact with them and go up and learn how to play the drums and tap dance.

I liked the tap dancer and drummer couple the most. Both of them definitely had a good sense of beat and synchronized with each other really well.

My favorite guest performer was deffinetly the Brazilian dancing lady. She was very boring when she talked non stop for about an hour, but the time when she had us dancing on stage was fun, funny watching her, and a good workout. I enjoyed it the whole time I was there.
