Body Image

I'm doing some research on body image and I just wanted to know what your opinions are. For example, what are the main factors that causes people, especially women, to change their body image. We all come in different shapes and sizes and we all have our perks. Does being thinner mean you're more attractive? How do you consider someone to be fat? Those are just some of my questions....feel free to say what you need to say :)

  • I feel body image is such a tricky thing to talk about! I feel that it's hard to get women, in particular, to accept their body image. I totally believe thinner does not mean more attractiveness. I'm just a big advocate of health = beauty. As long as you physically carry the right weight and lifestyle to lead a healthy long life, it doesn't matter to me whether you fit a size 0 or a size 8. Don't get me wrong, I totally get my bouts of self-consciousness but I was fortunate to realize that life is much more than a size. I'm at the point where I'm happy with all my flaws and that in turn, makes life so much cooler to live in. In the end, if you can be happy with you, I think the rest falls into place :)
