writing private messages on public walls? but how else do you ever so subtly allow people into your personal life without looking desperate and relationally unbounded? It's the perfect balance between anonymity and being transparent and honest in relationship. Not disturbing at all. Why, perhaps one day, when all is right in the world, this will be the only way people will communicate! How nice of you to leave a posting on the non-fb person :). Have a good day!
Of COURSE I stalked your facebook! Since I take all my relational cues off of how current pop culture deems appropriate interaction, stalking on facebook was the first place to go! I mean, I think the media's got it pretty figured out, seeing as they're professionals and all, I think we should do what they do and say what they say. They wouldn't lead us astray. Neither would any of my common peers, seeing as they're all doing it. And whoever heard of peers leading you astray? I've never seen that happen. No, I didn't stalk your facebook, silly. I don't even have one. :) I figured you would have one cuz Vera's class.
How did I find you? I stalked you on facebook like all good friends do, then found you were a member of wdydwyd. Pleased with my newfound fact about your personal life, I proceeded to repeat the process on wdydwyd. After many hours, I found looking at your many pictures and public conversations with others tiring, and decided that it didn't match up to a real relationship. So then I messaged you. I had dinner with grandparents at 6, so I sent it right before leaving, and I just searched your nombre. :)
well, because I wanted to connect with REAL people! I mean, I have no facebook, no myspace, no xanga, no online blog for people to read, how am I going to make any friends and have a real social life in this day in age? It's been terribly lonely, you know, with no real friends. Vera asked me to vote for her pic when she had the class for extra credit.
Do you want to be my real friend? Cuz only by being someone's friend on wdydwyd is one REALLY a friend. It's much better to talk in small snippets and answer back whenever we'd like to, rather than talking face to face. This much easier accommodates for people's busy lives, lack of actual relational closeness, and general insecurities, generating a feeling of closeness and intimacy without having to actually risk. Awesome, right? It's like having no more seeds in watermelon! Better yet is being able to catch up with people and find out what's going on in their lives without actually having to talk, see, or speak to them. It's much easier than trying to make that conversation thing. That was my flesh, lo siento. :) Hello! You rock.
