Little bit more about me:
I was born in Tehran in 1973. Love, light, and color were the main course in my home, while outside people flooded the streets in revolution. In the midst of nightly bombings I learned about the inherent contradictions of existence.
My art is based on my personal and cultural perspective of the realities of Iranian identity. My imagery is informed by the cognitive dissonance I experienced between comforting familial attitudes and cultural brutality.
