Little bit more about me:
I am a San Francisco based artist, working in design, illustration, drawing and painting. I am interested in the themes of simplicity, function, and connection. My work includes found objects, especially as they relate to personal history. I work in mixed media, painting, drawing, and collage.
I studied Intaglio and Lithography at Cal State Hayward (CSU Eastbay) under Kenji Nanao and Misch Kohn, followed by a brief appearance at the San Francisco Art Institute, where I also studied printmaking with Mitchi Atami and Dick Graf.
My first San Francisco exhibition was in 1989 at Project Artaud in the mission district. I have shown work recently with many noteworthy local artists including Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Jack Hirschman.
