Little bit more about me:

Jacob is my hero. He was born with his intestines and liver on the outside of his body, with Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Scoliosis, unknown neurological problems, damaged lungs which bleed, a heart defect that isn't currently repairable, hernias, etc. He is developmentally delayed and we're unsure if he'll be mentally retarded or learning disabled. All of this doesn't matter, he is our son and he is our gift. We got him when he was 6 weeks old and started physical and occupational therapy when he was 7 weeks old. He has had 3 surgeries and has a g-tube for feeding. Jacob is now 2 years old, he is walking, saying words, doing a little sign language, high stepping and dancing. He has been eating, by mouth, for a short while and enjoys eating crackers and fruit cocktail. He's our miracle and makes progress every day.
