Little bit more about me:
I am wondering WDYDWYD says about social entrepreneurs as i am looking at setting up a mentorship programme for SE's. if i cam going to be sucessful then i need to get into thier heads and find some commanility. I am also wondering how much people really think about their answers - do they really get to the core of why they do what they do, or do they say the first thing that come to mind? I know the answers and the length of time it take to arrive at them will be unique to each individual. Another related question is do they reflect on what they are trying to achieve or are they too busy doing it to spend the time ruminating on their motivation.

Some people answer what first comes to mind, but thing sit with that answer a long time afterwards and come back and answer it again. some people don't answer it right away (or at all), but think about it for a long time. and, some people dig deep on their first effort.
i have found that the question is simply a spark... it meets people where they are, yet encourages them to be a bit more reflective than they were before.
if you do wdydwyd with people, it does get great results to prompt people to dig deeper than they initially think they can.
