I live for long road trips with no destination, the sound rain makes on the roof of a parked car under a tree and the way my breath creates a foggy barrier between me and the rest of the world. The smell of new paint brushes, taking the plastic off a new canvas and the limitless possibilities it presents. Intense conversations with strangers about nothing. The smell of coffee made over a fire.
