Little bit more about me:
Miranda Caroligne makes a statement on diminishing waste by creating wearable sculptures from salvaged textiles. Her fashion shows, performances and stunning one-of-a-kind creations have established her as a bright star in San Francisco's constellation of provocative artist-designers. She gives a fun peek inside this world in her book, “Reconstructing Clothing for Dummies” August 2007 (Wiley), excerpts of which have recently been published in "Living Well in a Down Economy for Dummies" August 2008 (Wiley). Miranda is currently based out of her own boutique, Miranda Caroligne – a living construction boutique, located at 485 14th Street @ Guerrero; with a cooperative boutique, Trunk at 544 Haight @ Steiner, San Francisco, CA.
