When trying to answer this question, I could not come up with any answers other than "I don't know how to answer that". Very personal and open verbal expression is something I usually find challenging in a public setting. It is stressful and I never know what to say or how to say it. Like many, I am often afraid of sounding "silly" or "stupid". But, I feel perfectly at home expressing myself with music. When I am performing, I can be free from all constraints and second guessing. Music always seems to say the things my words can't properly articulate. I guess thats one of the reasons I have chosen music as my career. So, the fact that I feel lost, stressed out, shy, pressured, and confused expressing myself with words is one of the reasons I do what I do.
