wdydwyd? is about doing...about the art of everyday living, and about the projects (and stories around them) that engage us.
I'm intrigued by the creativity here, about the interest that is so readily shown toward understanding how what we do defines us, invites our participation and sharing, and better still, calls us to reflect on the meanings of our projects and actions.
As a lifelong student of everyday living, I have been fascinated that the topic of human doings has not been studied more, since it is so key to our well being. Indeed, we cannot be 'well beings" without doing things that engage us, join us with others, and give us pause to reflect and share.
This site motivated me to get off my lazy backside and create a blogsite about doing life well. It's objective is to engage dialogue about human time use, motivation, meaning, and related topics (those often found discussed by action psychologists). I find it interesting that positive psychology, the study of happiness, has so often found that good things happen when people are doing things they find satisfying and rewarding. wdydwyd? is really a place that exemplifies this in a creative way. I've called it a visual café. You are invited to share your thoughts here and at my DLW
