Yes, thats right, there is one big thing that the best school in the world needs. No, its not a bigger gym for basketball games, and no its not more dorms for an already overflowing school, and no, its not a flatter campus (because lets get real, thats not really possible haha). The only thing that UCLA could stand for gaining is a football stadium on campus. I know our campus is packed in and squished from all sides, but there is always hope. Maybe if we get another donation, we can buy the next block, but it would be amazing to go to a game without being worried about getting lost along the way. I spend my time during football season making reasons for me not to go to the game. I am worried about my ride, i am worried about how to get a ticket, and im worried that if i go all that way and we lose, ive wasted so much money on drinks, food and gas that it wasnt worth it. If we had a stadium on campus, i wouldnt care about any of these things just because i would know that splurging on in and out after the game was my treat for walking to the stadium. It would create a bigger sense of pride around school if we could bring our team out on our real campus, our real field. I know its a stretch, but i really think if the alumni are up for it, it would be a great investment..... :)

I totally agree! I hate to say it, but I have experienced USC's game days and they always seem like a good time (despite the fact that they kiiiiinnnnd of suck as a whole). I wish that we had room on our campus to build a football stadium, because then there would be absolutely ZERO argument against UCLA being the best school in the west coast, let alone the world :)

AHHHH I couldnt agree more! I am a third year and have been a UCLA fan prior, coming to all the football games with the fam and I always tried to understand why it is we dont have a stadium on campus. For the most part the turnout at the games are pretty good given that our home field is at the Rose Bowl, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that like kelly said, it is part of the college experience. Students, or at least my friends and I, look at it as an opportunity to have team spirit and take part in one of the many college traditions: tailgating. If only we could do this on the comfort of our own campus. I think the turnout would be significantly larger!

Rebecca, I also couldn't agree more. Football games are definitely apart of the the whole college experience. With our football field so far away, I find it so hard to get to the games. The football games I have gone too, have been amazing. Remember Karoline & Victoria? I would love to be more supportive of our football team. They work so hard and deserve all the UCLA population to attend their games!

If i had to ask for one thing to be added to UCLA it would be for the football stadium to be closer..not that im biased or anything

I couldn't agree more. The drive to Pasadena is so far, but this could never happen. There is just no space in LA to fit a stadium, and even though it would increase the number of fans that attend the games dramatically its just sadly not possible.
