I am an oyster and the world is my ocean. It has all of the sand in the world and I am at liberty to make as many pearls of wisdom and experience as I want. With all these opportunities coming at me, it’s hard sometimes to know exactly what’s happening around me.

Which I why I write.

Things are so much more real and make so much more sense when I can write them down. When I write down an idea or feeling, it becomes more concrete and at the same time, it gives me perspective. While I’m writing, I’m also thinking and reflecting. I have many revelations just writing about whatever’s running through my mind at the moment. I solve the world’s problems in my journal.
The right choice of words can express and capture a feeling so precisely that someone else would be able to read your words and know just what you mean.

Which is also why I read.

When you read what another person writes, it’s like they’re letting you in on a part of who they are. I want to be in on the secret. Who are you? What are you like? Where are you coming from? What drives you? I want to know your story. I want to understand you. I have so much to learn and you have so much to show me.
If my life were a book, this would be the first chapter. I’ll write some of my own stuff and if you let me read some of yours, we can make sense of the world together.
