yes! freshman camp was the way i got hooked into the y, and i was fortunate enough to be a co-director last year. the group has meant a lot to me over the last few years. were you involved with freshman camp too?
Thanks Tony for contacting me. I love the project that you've created. I think it was the 2003 Bman that you took my picture. I have a e-newsletter for my patients and clients, and I'm going to introduce everyone to your page--to join and contribute. Thanks for your passion and artistry!
I was really intrigued by your journey on the road interviewing people all over about what their purpose is in life, or why they do the things they do, since most of the time we don't really think about it. Thats partly why i wrote that i do what i do because time is precious, and i feel like i can't waste a single moment because there is always something to do...but time needed to reflect, is whats most important. ....anyways...did i add this photo correctly for the Dr. Winter's ex. credit? This was the funnest ex. credit ever...thinking about why i really do things. It made me think about things i never allow myself to think about. THanks!
I was so excited when I realized that it was you that was presenting in class that day! I actualy wrote in one of those books at the burn, the ones at center camp that were attached to the giant wall of pictures-- I thought it was such a cool idea and I seriously stood and stared at and read through all those images for hours!!! I couldn't believe it when you started presenting this project infront of my class!!! I couldn't wait to get a burn pic up here.... I hope i'll see you out there next summer-- counting down the days, literally- 267!
I think this is an amazing project, along with the other on-going community art projects you mentioned in class- KEEP ON KEEPIN ON!!!
It just said "customize" in the little box at the top, so I clicked it -- there are a ton of formats, and then you can customize them as well :) (I haven't tried this yet, but http://www.theodora.com/gif4/html_colors.gif is a list of the html codes for the colors, so you can get colors that aren't of the limited color palate)
I would love to learn how to make the wdydwyd banner transparent, because it kind of covers the entire decoration... I personally have no idea how, but let me know if you figure it out?
oh, I'm so excited to see them! My parter and I both had our portraits done in 07, but our prints didn't survive the playa- they only stayed visible for about a day. We should have put them in ziplocks in the cooler or something... dunno.
As for the picture, you know... I'm not sure what kind of bird it is. A guy at decompression was getting all the girls to feed it seeds from their lips. :-) Good times.
