This is the last chance. The crowd is roaring. The game, make that the season, is on the line. My teammates are counting on me. The pressure is on… There is nowhere that I’d rather be. I thrive under pressure situations, whether it is at school, work, sports, or any other situation. This mentality arises from my fiery and passionate personality and the confidence that I have in myself and my abilities. My coworkers/teammates have confidence in me because I know that I will excel in these certain pressure-packed situations. I take pride in these qualities that I possess.I play baseball. I have played it for 15 years and I feel that it has had a monumental impact on the person that I have become. Every year there is a new season, sometimes two, and every year I strap on my cleats and put on my uniform. It is like clockwork. The confidence and passion I show in my everyday life comes directly from my baseball experiences. When I’m playing baseball, it’s all I think about. When I’m not playing baseball, it’s all I think about.I enjoy playing baseball and believe that my love for the sport is so deep because it has allowed me to manifest my character traits into something that defines me. I have had trouble finding another activity that lets me display my leadership abilities so effectively and in something that I could do every day for the rest of my life. There is no other activity that defines me more than baseball.
