Jeff GelalichArt and Arch 10Winters10/16/09The Sensation That Is MeMy name is Jeff Gelalich and I am a self-driven caffeine addicted 18-year-old freshman at UCLA. I play baseball here at the university and am addicted to the thrill of competition. I love the game of baseball and have loved it since I first began. I play because I love the game and because it is my life. I have never had time in my life without baseball and wouldn’t have it any other way. I play for myself and for no one else. I play to live the dream that I have had ever since I have been a little kid. I have always said I have wanted to be a professional baseball player and I am working now to make this dream a reality. I work so that I can be better than everyone else and hope to be the best. I will one day be on the center stage and be playing for a professional baseball team and be someone who people can look up to. I am a brother and a son who loves his family and always will. For me, family comes first and always will be. I am a child of god and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love god and my religion. I am very open about how I feel and what I believe in. I do it because I believe in a greater power and a greater meaning to this life here on earth. I live with a higher set of standards than most and choose to do so because I feel that it lifts me up rather than hold me down. I am a genuine person who will not change for anyone because I am who I am whether he or she likes it or not. I am Jeff Gelalich, the baseball player who wants to make it big one day. I am the Mormon kid who always tries to find the good in things. This is me. This is what I do and this is why I do it.
