Burning Man and the Meaning of Life is a feature length documentary that will ask the citizens of Black Rock City the burning question: "What is the Meaning of Life?" The festival is the perfect place for these discussions because of the correlation between the Burning Man experience and life itself. People come to the festival (birth), build and experience art (life), then tear everything down and leave without a trace (death). In this sense, Burning Man is a microcosm of the stages of life. So what's the point? What is the meaning and significance behind all of this? Based on a short documentary that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
Why do it?
Because I want to give people a platform to express themselves. Because I want to open up discussions and debates about life and how we can make it better. Because I want to share ideas and opinions. Because I feel a burning need to create films.
But I need your help, I can't do it alone. There are several ways to become involved.
1. Contribute funds to the project via kickstarter. Contributions are rewarded with things like DVDs, movie posters, tickets to Burning Man, producing credits, etc.
