Pursuit of Happiness

It was not myself that realized that when I do things, I do them to make life worth living for. A friend of mine told me I was a “trip” because of the way I live my life and how I act. He told me that in everything I do, I look for the fun in it and after he told me that, I noticed that I have an ability to turn whatever I do into something fun. Ever since I was a little kid, I was constantly doing things that held a large interest in my mind. I read a lot of fantasy books, was interested in outdoor activities, played games with my older brother, and did many other things. Although I am a girl, having an older brother broadened my view in what I like to do. Growing up, I was always interested in things that made my life exhilarating and interesting. Going to Borders after school and reading graphic novels was something I enjoyed very much and did very often back in middle and high school. So how does this relate to “why do I do what I do?”? Well, everything that I do in life has a priority to make me feel like “life is good”. My motive in life is to die a happy woman with no regrets. For me, living with regrets is what brings people down which I hate to feel. I believe that each and every person has the power to either make their life bad or good and I choose to make my life, the most enjoyable life ever. That’s why I do the things I do because in some small way, it helps me live the life I want to live. I attend school because I want to achieve my dream job. I run because it helps me distress and be fit. I smile and laugh because it helps to keep me uplifted and happy.  And I live my life because I want to be happy and stay happy. That’s why I tell all my friends to do things that make them happy because from personal experience, doing things that made me truly genuinely happy is what makes living the best.
