I always want to prove people wrong, and that means I am willing to go to any means necessary to achieve that goal. My ultimate goal is to become a professional soccer player anywhere in the world. I love the game and always have since I started playing at the age of four. Throughout my soccer career I have experienced many different emotions, sometimes failure, and in other instances great joy. However, no matter what the situation is at practice or on the field I always try to have my goals in mind.
Every type of sport can have major set backs. Whether these set backs are from injury or from not having a good relationship with your teammates and coaches. The one thing that I have realized through playing soccer though is the fact that it is always a learning experience. I try and have an open mind with whatever happens on that field and know that it will help me in the long run achieve my goal. I train up to six or seven days a week and always try and put my best effort into every aspect of the trainings. It's hard sometimes for me to find the motivation to do these things but when I realize that I have come so far and still have work to do it allows me to push through all of the adversity and try to succeed.
People often don't have faith in others when they think their dream is unachievable. I feed off of the fact that people don't think I can make it. It is hard for me to accept the fact that someone else is telling me what I can and cannot do. These words they say to me or the way they treat me is only fuel for me to make my dream come true. In the end though it isn't about these people and their thoughts. I want to succeed for myself and make a dream of a four year old soccer fanatic come true. I always do what I do for the fact that somewhere I am proving someone wrong and to realize that everything I have done to this point will pay off in the future.
