I am a student, a sister, a daughter, a young woman, a worker, a dreamer. I might not have a career, an occupation that I will be doing for the rest of my life (yet) but I do have a goal with what I do. That goal is to help others in any possible way that I can. I am not certified to help medically but I am certified to do it academically. I teach to be taught. I change children and teenagers lives with helpful study skills as I study hard to one day help children, teenagers, and adults with life saving medications or surgeries. I do what I do not for my well being but for the well being of others. I look to better the lives of others because in the process I become a better person myself. Interacting with others that are not like me makes me grow. It makes me look in the eyes of others and allows me to see what they see. It gives me a broader perspective of life itself and allows me to get out of the darkness of what I think life is about when in reality there’s a lot about life I still do not know. What I do allows me to explore other communities and interact with them in ways many will never get the chance to do or experience. So why do I do what I do… because it gives me a warm feeling knowing that I made a difference. To know that I gave someone the tools to be a successful student for them to someday become what they dream of being too. Everyone has dreams and dreams start from a young age. My lifelong dream is to make a difference medically. But for now, I do what I do because this is my way of helping change someones life or make it better.
