I have two birthdays. I was born on December 30th, 1989 but my parents changed it to January 1st, 1990. The reason they changed it was because they had a rough and unlucky year in 1989 with miscarriages and bad businesses. They wanted their new baby to have a fresh year so that’s why reason they changed my birthday to January 1st, 1990. This story pretty much sums up how much my parents love and care for me. My parents have been watching out for me and taking care of me since I was born. They only have one wish in the world, and that’s for me to be happy. So, in return, the things I do now, I do it to make my parents happy and proud of me. They want me to be healthy, successful, and happy. Living in an apartment this year allowed me to eat healthier because I don’t eat the pizzas and fries that are offered in the dining halls. I’ve been eating more vegetables and fruits at my apartment. It’s easier to boil up vegetables or cut up fruits than frying meat. It’s definitely cheaper than buying fast foods. I’m continuing my education hoping to become a successful pharmacist in the near future. Classes are getting harder, especially chemistry but I won’t give up because I know my parents will be disappointed if I give up so easily. I have gotten poor grades this past year but I’m striving to raise my GPA and improve my resume by volunteering at the hospital and doing community services. I love spending time with my family and close friends. They give me so much support and encouragement. I know that if I ever feel sad, I can go to them and they can make me feel better. And I know that if I quit, they will be disappointed in me because they have faith that I can achieve anything I want as long as I keep trying and never give up.
