Payush ChattaDiscussion : 1FStudent Number: 603-782-119“Why do you do what you do?”The entire concept of determining someone’s identity and purpose in life is truly a difficult task. An individual does not have a single identity, nor does he/she have a sole purpose of taking such action in this world. 350 words can’t begin to define my personality or display what I do and why I do it. However, current situations influence my personality as a student, a son, a brother, and as a contributor to society. I am an individual who is in search of his identity, through which I aspire to mark my purpose and importance in this world. My current identity that I portray in front of various people compels me to act in numerous ways. As a son, I have the responsibility of taking care of my parents and fulfilling their wishes. The position of a student requires me to study and take part on a journey which will allow me to encounter success. As a sibling I have the duty of competing with my brother and asking him as well as offering him assistance in the time of need. Lastly, as a member of this society that has offered me so much, I am responsible for offering my services to enhance its qualities, whether it is in the form of community service or by offering limited medical services.Several experiences that I encounter daily allow me to create an identity for myself in the sense that Payush Chatta is someone. I may not be an individual who will be remembered for generations to come, however my efforts and hard work that I do now, will assist me in fulfilling my duties as a student, son, brother, and a member of this society. I have to continuously put on different masks, in relation to the position I am in, through which I can perform at my fullest potential. I am constantly changing my personality in order to accommodate my family’s desires, since every member approaches me with different aspirations. Nonetheless, I am a shadow in search of an identity, and my efforts can define my purpose in life.
