Trevor BrownArt and Arch 10October 15, 2009Who I AmI, Trevor Michael Brown, am a 17 year old trying to compete at a top university of outstanding students. I am a full-time student-athlete, obsessed with the game of baseball, and determined to succeed at one of the top universities in the country. I consider my schooling and baseball as a job. In other words, they are my main priority and I take them both very seriously. When I was young, I was always passionate about sports, especially baseball. It has always been my dream to play professionally, and my Mom always told me it was possible. Whether it’s baseball, school, family, or friends, I am very passionate with everything I associate myself with. Whenever I have free time, I spend it training and perfecting my skills. I love the game so much because baseball is the one thing that I can always fall back on to make me happy. It keeps me sane and it is something I can put my whole heart into.If I take my “job” here seriously as a student-athlete and stay focused on my tasks at hand I will be successful. Knowing this, I push myself everyday to be the best I can possibly be, so one day, I will attain the goals I’ve set for myself. Another reason for why I love baseball so much is because of my Dad. He loves the game as much as I do. I want to make him proud and achieve something he always dreamed of. Creating this dream fuels me to do what I do. I am a fanatic for baseball, and that’s what I always will be. More than anything I would love to play on a Major League Team, play in front of a huge crowd, all eyes focused on me. Playing professionally in the Bigs, not to mention get paid to do it, is why I am who I am. I live to play the sport that I cherish and will hopefully one day succeed in.
