Why do you do what you do?

When I think of my life I feeI love part of my life, while the other I wish could seemingly vanish in another direction. When I think of what I do, I feel drastically different from everyone else. Being a man in the positions I need to fill within my own life, I have come to the conclusion that my life is filled with expectations. I have certain categories in which I invest my time. My family, friends, sport, school and most of all finding the time to keep a right balance between everything life throws my way. I do what I do because life throws many curve balls, I've had quite enough yet I've learned to deal with some of these problems. Yet not everything I do comes with negative connotation. I am for the most part an extremely positive person. I feel that I have a positive nick name that people call me everyday. Why do they call me my nickname? It's who I am, and represents what I like to do.Soccer is a huge part in what makes me who I am. Soccer is a sport that keeps my mind balanced and serves almost as an outlet for all my pent up aggression. Working hard is soccer has impacted my life off the field. I played soccer and it rewarded me with a silver platter when being offered a chance to attend an institution such as this unique one I find myself in. I see my teammates becoming people I can rely on. People who can share a mutual respect for what people such as me are faced with. My family has shared a long road. A long road that has undoubtedly impacted my life in several ways. I find what I do a lot of the time is based on what my mother has taught me. Live free, but make sure you learn to govern yourself. I feel these words are something I will always want to live by.The values I hold closest are the ones that carry depth. The choices I've made have brought me to where I am today. My ability to adapt to the situation is something I've learned I must master.
