To be honest, at this point in my life, I do not exactly know why I do what I do. To begin with, there is no one concrete action or activity that I “do”. I do many things. I go to school, I study, I meet people, I participate in extracurricular activities. Over the past few weeks I have come to realize that I tend to live my life on a day-to-day basis, never taking time to look ahead. The major reason behind this is that being a full time college student involved in various activities leaves me struggling to simply find time to sleep, let alone contemplate my future. This made defining what I “do” very difficult, because “doing” is a very broad, reflective subject. So, in actuality, I do not know what I “do”. As you can imagine, I am often confused. I am often scared. A lot of times I do not know what is going on with my life. I just keep going. But if I had to put a finger on it, I would say what I do is prepare for the future. This is because I do not know what I want to do, or what I am going to do, but I know that each and every experience in my life to this point will aid me in some way shape or form. Thus, I have come to the conclusion that I do what I do because at some point in my life all these lessons and experiences will pay off and will prove to be invaluable. Much like a puzzle, these pieces will come together to make me who I am. Someday, all of this confusion and doing what I do will all pay off. This is about all I am sure of.
