I set up groups this year to approve members who join so that (1) conversations are more private, and (2) we have a more secure way of preventing potential spammers or other non-students from joining.
Step 1: Find your section's group here & join it.
Step 2: As soon as I know which sections you lead, I'll promote you to administrator of that group so you have all the controls of the group, which includes approving "Pending Members."
Step 3: Follow the following steps to approve members. Do this regularly (probably every day for the first few days). I've already approved some members, but it's hard to keep up with all 15 sections.
