I presented on WDYDWYD this morning at the Kentucky Art Education Association state conference. It was really well attended, and I fully expect that it will generate tons of new work. And, it was a really good presentation (and it isn't often that I brag). I am going to send information on how I teach the project to about 20 different teachers.
Thank You very much Tony! My wife and I had a TON of fun with it.
I "practiced" a bit at work a week or 2 before we left for Burning Man. I had some people I work with pose, and our 7 year old daughter was my first try. And I took all of those with my camera phone set to black and white.
Do I need to get releases signed by those people I shot at work, or will you not use them for anything?
I just presented the WDYDWYD project to my photography students and they are absolutely stoked! I love when they get this excited about a project. It reminds me why I am an art teacher. Thank you!

Thanks! It was the highlight of my playa experience & was happy to be able to participate again! :) It's a very fun, engaging, and thought provoking project.
I would love to do this when I travel abroad (festivals around the world....Boom, Nowhere, Ozora, Glastonbury, Machinefest, other Bman regionals, etc.). Let me know if that fits with your vision of the project!
Thanks for the advice. Check back to my photos & I'll upgrade them to fit the standards of this forum K? I would appreciate any sites you know of that can help me. :-) Linda

Hey - long time. What's your email. I am turning WYDYDWYD to a group I am working with and want to know who to connect with?
