I've made small tweaks to the instructions page http://wdydwyd.com/UCLA11 based on the submissions so far. Mostly to clarify things.
I did add an optional way people could share their essay: recording audio of their essay by calling a dedicated voice mail (it's part of "Google Voice"). You will see it listed on the instructions page now under Part I. I made it clear that it is (1) optional, (2) just for jun, (3) won't be counted toward their grade. It is just another way students can share their work if they want.
You don't need to do anything with this. You won't need to listen to them or count them as part of the class.
For those students who record it, I may include it on the blog (which I note). You can see an example after the first photo at http://www.wdydwyd.com
I wanted to make sure you knew in case it happen to come up during section or class. Can one of you tell Prof. Winter?
