Eat healthy and exercise more - cut out the junk food - all that stuff. Most people do things that go against their better judgement and I'm no exception. But some things you can't keep running away from. Reality has a way of catching up with you.
This was my second heart attack. My first was in 2004 preceded by months of angina. This recent one came out the blue and was very painful. They were filling me full of morphine at the hospital. I had an angioplasty within hours. I was lucky. No serious damage.
Why do we do things that we know are bad for us? That's a real tough question to answer.
