I spotted this moment at the Temple at Burning Man last year. As this person poured out his grief writing about a lost loved one, there were several written messages that framed his grief. Images like this spell out the imperative and the struggle that each one of us faces in our lives. I photograph such moments because the image and the words need to be shared. I feel the image instructs and points a way to a world beyound grief and strife
