What is the underlying force that drives my existence? This question can be answered in one word inspiration. I want to change the custom of conformity by inspiring others to be themselves. I am sure the entirety of the world’s population has at one point wanted to do something but decided not to because of what other people would think. I say, who are they to stop me? Why should other people’s thoughts infringe on my personal happiness? If I accomplish nothing else in my life I would die a happy woman if I died at least thinking, that I inspired one person to speak their mind, act out for a cause, dress unconventionally, if that would make them happy. If being blonde with blue eyes and a pant size zero makes a girl happy I hope she does everything possible to embody that goal. However, if she would be happier having purple hair, brown eyes, and a closet full of size 12 jeans, I hope she chooses not to embody social stereotypes and chooses to present herself in a way that brings her joy. I do what I do to inspire others to do what they want to do.
