That's a photo of "Little Buster" in the background. It was part of the hydrogen bomb testing program in the Nevada desert in the1950's.The "Duck and Cover" campaign of that era seems ridiculous but was really meant to give the school children some sense that someone was doing something to protect them. Hope over fear. Let's have it for real.
