This photo of me was taken on the day of one of our Dragon Boat races. Dragon Boat is a paddling sport in which boats of 20 paddlers race against each other. Despite having so many people on a boat, the overall morale can easily be swayed by a few. Knowing this, I try to remain as positive as I can; hopefully my teammates will catch on.My reason, "because I want to be remembered only in positive ways," applies when I'm on the boat and in my life in general. I feel like it is an underlying motivation for much of what I strive to do in life, i.e. going to med school, making my mom proud...etc.
