I'm studying elementary/special education in college. I'm doing it because my cousin, William, had Down Syndrome and he really inspired me to get into the field. He taught me so much while he was here and has inspired me so much. If he had never been in my life I would not be who I am today. I'm becoming a teacher to inspire students just like he inspired me and hope that I can make an impact on their lives just like William impacted mine.
