I'm going to college in the fall, to study Special Education and eventually teach or work for some kind of advocacy group. I've always been the kid who "played school," and did that sort of thing. I think that I feel the best when I'm helping someone learn, especially about myself and my own abilities to affect people/the world around me. I have a disability myself, and being able to relate to kids with intellectual disabilities has been a huge part of why I love to teach and just be around people with disabilities. I guess, why would I ever want to do something else? :)
