It took me four hours and about 10 stores on Wednesday night to find a supermarket that still had a few bags of Mother's Circus Animal Cookies on hand. Why did I do it? Because I've always loved the frosted pink and white cookies. They were a staple of my childhood and it's hard to let them go. Life will never be the same.*Mother's Cookies Bakery opened in 1914. They filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2008, laying off all their workers and halting all production.
