I think the twittering is really cool. Now that i've started i've connected with a lot of my friends who use is, and it's fun to update a lot and see what everyone is doing.

Here are a few tools that enable you to add text to your image without needing to use a special software program. You can do it all online and then add your photo to wdydwyd. Be careful... some of the fonts on this are cheezy. http://www.tagsma...

Hello Tony,

This is Perry, I am so very sorry about not getting back to you sooner. Yes I grew up in the swamp lands of Louisiana. I fish, and hunt, so I spent a lot of time in the woods, cane fields, bayous and lakes. I've caught, clean and cooked aligators and anything else that we (my family) thought was good to eat. If you have any questions, just ask and I will respond. I am also a Musician and an Artist 3D type. My screen name online everywhere is MusArt. Musician+Artist=MusArt You have a good one, I was trying to plan a trip to your neck of the woods.
I have an Aunt that lives in Berkely,

Perry,

Hello Tony,

We had our midterm review session for AA10 this evening. It gave me an opportunity to recollect and ponder what you shared with us in class. Thank you for having the courage to pursue an answer to the catalytic phone call you received that day. The results have, to be sure, inpired many, including myself. The site is a fantastic idea and the project has enabled me to get out of my comfort zone and take a deeper, introspective look inside. Thanks again and good luck with everything you've got going on!

Hi Tony!

I have a question. I did the appropriate tags, but my photo doesn't show up in the search, and it's not in a gallery. Help?

Thanks,
Vera Yu

Little *tiny* bit more about me:
I like to ask questions. Just published my first book: SEEING BEYOND SIGHT: PHOTOGRAPHS BY BLIND TEENAGERS (Chronicle Books). www.seeingbeyondsight.org

Here is the book I published in 2007

Seeing Beyond Sight: Photographs by Blind Teenagers (Chronicle Books)

book cover

“uniquely powerful” ~ Utne Magazine | "savvy, passionate, witty, and yes, beautiful" ~ FastCompany.com | "This book will make you look—and look again—at how you perceive and what you assume." ~ Shambhala Sun | "demonstrates countless new ways for all of us to think about vision, art and perception, and what it really means to see" ~ Chronicle Books

You can get it on Amazon for about $16 now — a great holiday gift for an artist, photographer, teacher, philosopher or family member.

Just started this new wdydwyd platform - does it work?

I just used Ning to set up this new site that will hopefully add a ton of features and interaction capabilities to wdydwyd. This project is ultimately a massively collaborative art project, and the only limitation has been the tools to facilitate this more. Let's see how this works. Feedback is welcomed in the WEB group discussion.

Or, just post here what works or could work better to help this thing take off more.

For one, I'm testing out this blog function to see how i… Continue

I think a lot of it has to do with the way we are brought up. We are taught certain prejudices from a very early age, stereotypes that are hard to break. These judgments make it hard for people to form open opinions and make unbiased decisions, le...
